Pacific Northwest Weekly Feedstuffs

   Pacific Northwest Market Summary:  Feed ingredient offers ended the 
reporting week on Tuesday, December 5, mixed, mostly higher compared to last 
report's offers.  

   Oilseed Meal Markets:  Offers for 47 percent protein Soybean Meal, for 
nearby rail delivery to Pacific Northwest were 16.50 to 20.00 higher from 
364.30-380.00.  Offers for soybean meal truck delivered to the Willamette 
Valley were 16.50 to 20.00 higher from 379.30-395.00.  Offers for nearby rail 
delivered to Pacific Northwest Canola Meal, 34 to 36 percent protein were 10.00 
to 17.50 higher from 273.30-275.00.  Truck delivered Willamette Valley canola 
meal offers, 34 to 36 percent protein were also 10.00 to 17.50 higher from 
288.30-290.00.

   Whole Cottonseed:  Whole Cottonseed offers for delivery to points in the 
Pacific Northwest from the Midsouth in single boxcars were steady to 10.00 
higher from 265.00-310.00.  Offers for whole cottonseed trans-loaded onto 
trucks and delivered to Willamette Valley dairies were also steady to 10.00 
higher from 285.00-325.00.

   Animal Proteins:  Offers for 46 to 50 percent protein ruminant Meat and Bone 
Meal, FOB Pacific Northwest plants, were steady from 200.00-250.00.  Offers for 
ruminant meat and bone meal truck delivered to the Willamette Valley were 
steady from 225.00-280.00.

   Wheat Millrun:  Feed mill offers for Wheat Millrun for nearby delivery, 
loaded FOB the flour mill in Portland were steady at 130.00.  Offers for wheat 
millrun truck delivered to the Willamette Valley were steady at 140.00.  Flour 
mill offers for wheat millrun rail delivered to Portland on the Burlington 
Northern Line from eastern Washington and eastern Oregon for nearby delivery 
were steady at 90.00.  Offers for wheat millrun FOB eastern Oregon and eastern 
Washington for nearby delivery trended steady from 70.00-75.00.

   Alfalfa Products:  Offers for Suncured Alfalfa Pellets, 15 percent protein, 
delivered by truck to the Willamette Valley were steady at 280.00.

   Distillers Dried Grains:  Offers for Distillers Dried Grains delivered by 
rail to feed mills in the Pacific Northwest were 3.00 to 7.00 higher from 
199.00-210.00.  Offers for distillers dried grains trans-loaded onto trucks and 
delivered to Willamette Valley dairies were 3.00 to 7.00 higher from 217.00-
225.00.

   Coarse Feeding Grains:  Offers for US 2 Barley for nearby delivery to 
Portland in single rail cars for domestic use were steady to 5.00 higher from 
165.00-185.00.  Offers for US 2 Barley truck delivered to the Willamette Valley 
were steady to 5.00 higher from 165.00-185.00.  US 2 Yellow Corn offers for 
rail delivery to points north of Seattle were 2.50 to 3.25 higher from 163.75-
172.75.  Offers for US 2 Yellow Corn rail delivered to points in the Seattle 
area were 2.50 to 3.25 higher from 162.00-172.75.  Offers for US 2 Yellow Corn 
rail delivered to Portland were 1.50 to 2.50 higher from 159.50-164.25.  Offers 
for US 2 Yellow Corn truck delivered to the Willamette Valley were 1.00 to 3.25 
higher from 172.75-174.00.  US 2 Yellow Corn offers for truck delivery to the 
Yakima Valley were 1.25 to 6.25 higher from 153.00-163.75.  Chicago March corn 
futures closed at 3.5375, 4.00 cents higher than last report's March corn 
futures close of 3.4975.  Offers for US 2 Heavy White Oats truck delivered to 
Portland and Willamette Valley were steady to 5.00 lower from 190.00-210.00.
